- HELP - This screen calculates required orifice area for liquid sizing. Flow through the valve is sub-sonic. This formula recognizes that constant backpressure (P2) has a direct affect on set pressure and rated flow capacity for a conventional spring- return SRV. However, AGCO Pilot-Operated SRV's are balanced against the affects of constant backpressure. Therefore, no backpressure correction factor (Kp) is used in the calculation. Kp = 1.00. Likewise, the AGCO Type 81P is balanced until backpressure exceeds 50% of set pressure, at which time Kp is recognized. VISCOSITY Correction Factor The program automatically calculates the correction factor when viscosity is entered in centipose. To convert SSU to CP, multiply SSU x 0.22. For optimum performance, maximum viscosity of the lading fluid should be limited to 3000 SSU, Saybolt Universal Seconds (about 40 wt. oil @ 70 deg. F), or 660 CP.
